29 July 2023. Saxophonist Fabrice Alleman is invited to the Dinant Jazz Festival to present ‘Spirit one: clarity’, the first of a triptych of recordings.

Accompanied by his acolytes, Jean-Louis Rassinfosse on double bass, Nicola Andrioli on piano and Mimi Verderame on drums, they deliver a poignant concert of serious intensity on the stage of the Parc de l’Abbaye de la Leffe.
The quartet transports the audience with their melodic compositions of great sensitivity and depth, inspired by the world of Chet Baker. The music is simple, straightforward, immediate and straight to the heart, just like Chet’s.

This ‘Live at Dinant Jazz Festival’ is a record of that magical concert, captured in the heart of the sublime Mosan city of the saxophone.
