Jeff Herr He is actually playing with Luxembourg’s finest Blues Guitar player Remo Cavallini and performs regulary with austrian singer Shlomit Butbul, Singer/Songwriter Lata Gouveia, indian Sitar Master Pandit Deobrat Mishra and Luxemburg based icelandic singer Thorunn.
With Maxime Bender on saxophone and Laurent Payfert on double bass, this powerhouse trio offers up a new repertoire of tightly arranged and structured tracks (“Journey to the Bliss”, “Layer Cake”) as well as vibrant improvisations (“Melancholy”, “Euphoria”) and free (“Wind”) in addition to a surprising cover of David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold the World”. The power of tracks such as “Funky Monkey”, “A-Rabi Dub” or “And So It Is” is drawn from the trio’s solid rhythmic foundations and underlines the origin of the music as well as the group’s philosophy: the groove.
