The twelve songs on this record form part of "L'Air Frais des Jardins Publics" (the fresh air of public gardens), a musical show written and performed by Simone MOESEN and Marianne POUSSEUR in december 1991 in Brussels. It is essentially Denis POUSSEUR's song versions of the delirious world of dreams and absurdity of Lewis Carroll that the duo explore with brio. Their varied and complementary vocal range manage the perfect marriage of theatrical and musical languages in song.
