Winner of the Biennale Chanson Française competition in 2014, Tout Finira Bien (It’ll All End Well) is releasing "Au Cœur" (At Heart), a new album that is poetically jazz. Over subtle yet audacious arrangements, the texts enchant and decry the madness of the world. New chanson, going against the current.
After a first album (Mouton Mouillé) and work together with the French artist Grand Corps Malade, the chanson française quintet "Tout Finira Bien" is back with "Au Cœur", an impressionist fresco in 14 scenes.
Gilles Bourgain, an off-beat composer-engineer-poet-flautist, tactfully serves up words that are gentle and hard by turns and bring us into a singular world of contradictions: between contemplation and commitment, the day-to-day and the philosophical, joy and pain. A complex man, at the heart of the world. The high-level musicians that accompany him put all their subtlety into an original repertoire. Chamber music, electronic sounds, symphony orchestra, music box... A journey.
