Julien De Borman
Diatonic accordionist and composer, Julien de Borman performs in different formations: Turdus Philomelos: (since 2000) festive music quintet between folk and swing, acoustic funk and Balkan music.
Anavantou! a Belgian-Brazilian project that revisits without complex traditional music from both continents for a festive and contemporary show.
Flygmaskin: poetic formation between classical music and Scandinavian jazz.
Klezmic Zirkus: (2005 – 2015) klezmer music quintet, a clever cocktail at the confluence of jazz, rock, reggae and electronic music. More than 300 concerts in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Russia – collaboration with David Krakauer (US), Geoff Berner (Ca).

Julien is also involved in the Theater side with the Company “Les pieds dans le vent”, the Compagnie des 4 Saisons, (2019), composition for the show “Transport sauvage”, the Cirque Barbette (sound creation and composition for three shows of the company), Ceux qui marchent dans l’obscure by Hanock Levin, directed by Lara Hubinont at Atelier 210 – composition and actor.
