Fabrice Alleman
In 1990 Fabrice Alleman started his professional carreer as a musician, after his classical music studies (1st Prize chamber music, clarinet…). He is currently very active on the Belgian jazz scene as well as in the studios and still occasionally in pop music (Adamo, San Severino, William Scheller etc…)
But his main interest is clearly jazz music, and he had very soon the opportunity to play with some of the most prominent Belgian jazz musicians, such as : Steve Houben, Richard Rousselet, Eric Legnini, Michel Herr, Paolo Radoni, Guy Cabay, Sadi…
In 1997, with his new QUARTET, he received the Nicolas D’or Prize at the Liège festival. The quartet CD ” LOOP THE LOOP” was released in January 1998 (Igloo IGL136). It includes some excerpts from the acclaimed performance at the ’97 Liège Festival, plus additional studio recordings.
