Steve Altenberg

Steve Altenberg is a drummer/composer currently residing in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is a full professor at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen where he works on the program: “New York comes to Groningen”.

Mr. Altenberg also maintains a very busy schedule. He has played as a sideman on over forty international versions having worked with, among others, Dr. Lonnie Smith, John Abercrombie, Randy Brecker, Barry Harris, Bill Evans, Kevin Hays, Chris Potter, Don Braden, Dale Barlow, Darrell Grant, John Benitez, Phillip Harper, Jack Walrath, Ron Blake, etc.Site officiel
