Jacques Pelzer is one of the few musicians to have gone through a dizzy number of jazz periods without ever losing sight of his goal or his integrity. Three generations of magnificent jazz musicians are brought together on "Salute to the Band Box": Bruno Castellucci, the indispensable rhythmist who brings together swing and precision, the rich sound of Philippe Aerts double bass and all the craft and poetry of Philip Catherine on guitar.
