About
Outside the Box is a duo album in which the piano and saxophone break free from convention. Two free voices that intersect, clash, and listen to one another in the moment.
The two musicians seek neither virtuosity nor performance. They seek a fragile, ever-shifting, shared truth. Improvisation thus becomes a way of inhabiting time.
Outside the Box features a piano that goes off the rails and a sax that bites. It screeches, whispers, and explodes without warning… An open, raw approach, played off the beaten path.
This music doesn’t tell a story—it invents a thousand.
